Festival of Latin American Culture and Ideas”. Dicho libro será publicado tanto en Australia como en México en la segunda mitad de 2019.
After the consideration of the panel of judges, the editorial committee is pleased to announce the submissions that will form part of the literary anthology for «Hola Melbourne! Festival of Latin American Culture and Ideas». This book, co-published by A Voz Limpia and Revarena Ediciones, will be released both in Australia and in Mexico in the second half of 2019.

Vicente Pérez de León; catedrático en Estudios Hispánicos y Coordinador de la Facultad de Lenguas y Culturas Modernas en la Universidad de Glasgow. Sus publicaciones (3 libros y más de 70 artículos) versan sobre el Siglo de Oro Español. Su más reciente libro Histéresis Creativa (2015), explora los vínculos entre la cultura cortés y popular en los tiempos de Cervantes.
Gabriella Muñoz; escritora, traductora y editora Mexicana-Australiana. Parte de su obra ha sido publicada en The Sydney Morning Herald, The Victorian Writer, Mascara Literary Review, Senses of Cinema and Icónica, entre otros espacios. En México, Gabriella fue editora de Muy Interesante Mexico, Prevención México y América Latina. A la par, colaboró con revistas Conozca Más, Switch y Cine Première, entre otras. En 2018, fue nombrada como Digital Writer in Residence, en el programa Writers Victoria.
Leticia Rentería; promotora de literatura latinoamericana en Melbourne, Australia, a través de la coordinación de talleres de creación literaria y lecturas públicas.
Dicho panel llevó a cabo su deliberación, en cada categoría, según el mérito de los textos participantes en los siguientes rubros: manejo del tema, estilo, originalidad/creatividad, ritmo/musicalidad (en la categoría poesía) y construcción narrativa (en la categoría cuento corto).
Esta antología representa la creación de significativos vínculos entre literaturas contemporáneas: mexicana y australiana. Más aún, se trata de un múltiple entendimiento en torno a una misma experiencia humana: la distancia.

Vicente Pérez de León; Hispanic Studies researcher and Coordinator of the Faculty of Languages and Modern Cultures of the University of Glasgow. His publications (3 books y over 70 articles) concentrate on the Spanish Golden Era. His most recent book – Histéresis Creativa (2015) – explores the links between court and popular cultures in the times of Cervantes.
Gabriella Muñoz; Mexican-Australian writer, translator and editor. Part of her work has been published in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Victorian Writer, Mascara Literary Review, Senses of Cinema and Icónica, among other publications. In Mexico, Gabriella was the editor of Muy Interesante Mexico, Prevención Mexico and América Latina. She also contributed to magazines such as Conozca Más, Switch and Cine Première, among others. In 2018, she was appointed Digital Writer in Residence for Writers Victoria.

This panel assessed the submitted works in each category based on their merit in the areas of subject matter, style, originality/creativity, rhythm/musicality (in the poetry category) and narrative construction (in the short story category).
This anthology established significant links between two contemporary literary scenes: Mexico and Australia. Furthermore, it offers multiple views on a common human experience: distance.
