CONVOCATORIA
Publicación de Antología Literaria Especial para
“Hola Melbourne! Festival of Latin American Culture and Ideas”
En conjunto con Revarena Ediciones, convocamos a concursar para formar parte de la publicación de una antología literaria para Hola Melbourne! Festival of Latin American Culture and Ideas, evento multidisciplinario organizado por 4Diverse con el apoyo the City of Port Phillip and RMIT University.
Dicha publicación reunirá el trabajo de escritores, radicados tanto en Australia como en México, que escriban en español o inglés. Recibiremos trabajos en 2 categorías: poesía y cuento corto. Los textos deberán ser originales e inéditos.
El premio para los autores seleccionados consistirá en la traducción profesional del texto al inglés o español y la inclusión de ambos textos (original y traducción) en el libro. Dicho libro se publicará simultáneamente en Australia y en México.
El tema a tratar será “la distancia”.
Bases del concurso:
Categoría Poesía: Longitud máxima de 2 cuartillas, doble espacio, fuente Arial 12pt.
Categoría Cuento Corto: Longitud máxima de 5 cuartillas, doble espacio, fuente Arial 12pt.
Los trabajos deberán ser firmados con un seudónimo.
La fecha límite de recepción de trabajos es el 25 de enero de 2019. No se recibirán trabajos enviados posteriormente.
Los trabajos ganadores serán seleccionados por un panel cuyo fallo será inapelable.
Los resultados se darán a conocer en febrero de 2019 a través del website del festival holamelbournefest.com
La entrega de los trabajos a concursar se deberá hacer adjuntándolos a través del enlace correspondiente en el sitio web del festival holamelbournefest.com
Cada uno de los escritores seleccionados recibirá dos ejemplares del libro publicado.
Los casos no previstos en esta convocatoria serán resueltos por el consejo editorial.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
Publication of a special edition anthology for
“Hola Melbourne! Festival of Latin American Culture and Ideas”
This is a call for submissions to be part of a special anthology for Hola Melbourne! Festival of Latin American Culture and Ideas, a multidisciplinary festival produced by 4Diverse with support from the City of Port Phillip and RMIT University.
This publication will gather the work of writers both in Australia and in Mexico, producing work in either Spanish or English. Submissions will be accepted in 2 categories: poetry and short story. Submissions must be original and unpublished.
The prize for the selected authors will be a professional translation of their submission into English or Spanish, and the publication of both texts (original and translation) in the book which will be be released simultaneously in Australia and Mexico.
The theme of this call for submissions is “distance”.
Details
Poetry:
Maximum length: 2 pages, double space, Arial 12pt font.
Short Story:
Maximum length: 5 pages, double space, Arial 12pt font.
Submissions must be signed with a pseudonym.
The deadline for submissions will be January 25th, 2019. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Submissions need to be made through the respective link on the festival’s website: holamelbournefest.com
The winners will be selected by a panel whose decision will be final.
The results will be made public in February 2019 through the festival’s website.
Each of the selected writers will receive two copies of the book when published.
Any cases not considered, will be left to the discretion the editorial team.
